Zone 1 15 g

GET IN THE ZONE WITH “ZONE 1”

This “All Purpose” 5% lidocaine topical anesthetic has the advantage of a pH of 7, for rapid onset and safe use around the eyes- although care should be taken to avoid getting this product in the eyes. The cream base also makes this product self-occlusive. This product is for relief of discomfort due to anorectal disorders, or in preparation for other pain sensitive procedures such as large tattooing.

FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY ON INTACT SKIN: Check with client for history of allergic reactions to topical anesthetics before applying. Keep in a cool dark place, out of the reach of children.

WARNING: Avoid direct contact with the eyeball. If contact should occur, irrigate with copious amounts of sterile saline and contact an eye care physician.

DO NOT SWALLOW. If accidentally swallowed, seek medical help immediately.

EYEBROWS 15-20 minutes

We suggest using Pro Plus for this procedure. Use SJ3during the procedure to continue anesthesia, and either Zone 2or Blue Gel to continue anesthesia and constrict blood vessels.

EYELINER 10- 15minutes

Fill the eyes with liquid eye gel to coat the cornea. With the client’s eyes closed, apply a thin layer of cream with a small applicator across the lash line. Remove anesthetic before beginning procedure. Following the first pass of tattooing, sparingly apply Zone 2or Blue Gel to control swelling and maintain anesthesia for up to two hours.

LIPS 15-20 minutes

We suggest using Pro Plus or Super T for this procedure. While some relief may be provided with topical anesthetics, for total anesthesia, you must provide a nerve block performed by a physician. Do not use inside of the mouth.Use SJ3 during procedure to continue anesthesia, or either Blue Gel, Vasocaine or Zone 2 to continue anesthesia and constrict blood vessels.

BODY SKIN 90-120 minutes

Prior to tattooing or piercing: Lightly exfoliate with Skin Resurfacer. Gently massage into skin and then apply a medium coating over the top. In order to prevent absorption into clothing and retain effective anesthesia, cover with an occlusive dressing. Thicker skin requires longer time to absorb the cream than thinner skin. Use SJ3 during procedure to continue anesthesia, or either Blue Gel, Vasocaine or Zone 2 to continue anesthesia and constrict blood vessels.

PIERCING 15- 20 minutes

SUGGESTED APPLICATION TIMES

We suggest using Super T for this procedure. Avoid genital areas. Thicker skin requires longer pre-treating time. Lightly exfoliate with Skin Resurfacer.Gently massage into skin, then apply a medium coating on top. Wipe away immediately prior to piercing. Use Blue Gel or Zone 2 during jewelry insertion to continue anesthesia and reduce swelling.
